Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is a remake of a mobile Kingdom Hearts spin-off game that was released on the Nintendo DS. A movie of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded was later included as part of the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix collection for the PlayStation 3.
Most of the game involved puzzle solving although there are some RPG elements. Director Tetsuya Nomura wanted a different kind of Kingdom Hearts game where players could explore the game much like a playground.
This is the 4th Kingdom Hearts game and takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts II. the game involves entering a digital world to try to repair Jiminy Cricket?s journal which has two secret messages in it.
The soundtrack like the rest of the Kingdom Hearts series was composed by Yoko Shimomura and includes many songs from previous Kingdom Hearts games.
